Innovation for Clinicians

Toxnet GO-FAST tool - Version 2.0

The GO-FAST (Goal-Oriented Facilitated Approach to Spasticity Treatment) tool has been updated to better support everyday clinical practice.

Enhancements include improved file management, structured and flexible goal-setting tools, a concise data-rich dashboard, and enhanced data visualisation to support informed clinical decision-making.

Developed in close collaboration with experts in rehabilitation medicine, GO-FAST 2.0 maintains its patient-centred, goal-based approach while offering clearer guidance when selecting commonly used treatment goals, associated movement patterns, and target muscles.

Expanded outcome tracking allows clinicians to monitor progress over time and assess treatment success with greater confidence, making GO-FAST a practical and reliable tool for the management of spasticity.

Individual, locally stored patient files

  • All patient data is stored locally on your device only – there is no central or cloud-based data storage
  • Each patient has a single data file, which is updated every time the app is used
  • Patient records can be edited and updated at any time
  • Patient data files can be accessed and used across your own devices (smartphone, tablet, or computer)
  • For existing users, multiple files for the same patient can be uploaded, and the latest version will automatically merge them into one unified patient record.

Goal setting with ease

  • Easily set up to five goals using the pre-defined selections
  • Add additional muscles if required
  • Use the preconfigured goal parameters or make custom parameters to suit your patient.

Dose recording

  • Record dosing details for each relevant muscle
  • The app tracks injection values, even across multiple goals, to help you to keep dosage levels within limits
  • Dosage per muscle and total dosage is displayed throughout.

Patient treatment reviews

  • Review your patient’s progress against previously recorded goals
  • With full editing and management tools you can easily input paper-based patient histories and continue treatment management in GO-FAST 2.0
  • Complete patient treatment and outcomes record is available in a concise dashboard.

Comprehensive data visualisations

A robust set of useful graphs, including:

  • Interval between muscle injections
  • Goals per sub-category
  • GAS-T scores and changes over time
  • Dosage per muscle over time.

GAS T score automatically calculated

The GO-FAST tool automatically calculates the GAS T score for the achievement of previously-set goals and these can be viewed on the dashboard and in the patient data visualisations.

Export to PDF

Export all information related to the patient into a structured PDF file that contains the entire history of the patient managed within the GO-FAST app.

Before using the tool, please refer to the accompanying article, (Jacinto J et al., 2023 (Selecting Goals and Target Muscles for Botulinum Toxin A Injection Using the Goal Oriented Facilitated Approach to Spasticity Treatment (GO-FAST) Tool.
