Biography

The Hospital La Paz, Madrid announced the passing of Susana Moraleda, its Head of Service Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation on 16 November 2023.

Dr Moraleda graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Madrid in 1983 and participated in the publication of over 30 scientific articles for national and international journals including 2 pivotal publications with the Toxnet group. Dr Moraleda was a founder member of Toxnet in 2016 and contributed enthusiastically to all group activities until ill health required that she step down from the group.

CLINICAL

  • Evidence of development or growth of a spasticity program at the applicant’s practice or institution
  • Breadth of services provided, including medications, toxins, physical interventions, and Intrathecal Baclofen Therapy (ITB)
  • Role of responsibility in managing patients with spasticity
