Dr. Fabienne Schillebeeckx is Head of Clinic for Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation at University Hospitals Leuven in Belgium, specializing in spasticity management. Her research focuses on instrumented spasticity assessment and three-dimensional ultrasound to investigate morphological changes in muscles and tendons after stroke and to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments such as botulinum toxin.
She collaborates with national and international researchers and has contributed to several publications on these topics. Within the expert group, she aims to support knowledge sharing and innovation to improve care for patients with spasticity.
